Aggie Baumert | Partner
Aggie Agnieszka Baumert is a family law attorney and founder of Baumert Law. Aggie is well-versed in all areas of family law, including the negotiation and litigation of complex financial matters, child-related matters, support, division of property, domestic violence, contempt and enforcement proceedings, and parentage.
Prior to opening her own practice, Aggie worked at a family law firm where she handled numerous cases in and out of court.
Legal Experience
Aggie gained invaluable court experience while serving as a judicial extern to two federal judges, the Honorable John W. Darrah and the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Additionally, Aggie externed for the Honorable Thomas L. Kilbride at the Illinois Supreme Court.

Aggie interned at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, defending the county in both state and federal court. While interning in the Civil Actions Bureau of the State’s Attorney’s Office, Aggie was presented with a rare opportunity to draft a Seventh Circuit Amicus Curiae brief for the Director of Special Litigation.

In the Municipal Division of the Office, Aggie argued and won misdemeanor bench trials on behalf of the People of Cook County. Aggie also worked in the Criminal Appeals Section, where she researched and drafted appellate briefs for the Illinois Appellate Court.
